Ireland's largest truck importer Robert 'Pino' Harris has died at 75

Robert (Pino) Harris, one of the Ireland’s best known businessman in the 1980s and 1990s, has died following a short illness. He was 75.
Mr Harris made his fortune after pioneering the importation of Japanese Hino trucks in the late 1960s, eventually become the largest truck dealer in the country through his franchises for Iveco, Hino, Isuzu LDV, Sinotruk and Higer.
He is survived by his wife Denise.
The low-profile Dubliner was also a prolific property investor.
In accordance with his wishes, the business will continue to operate as normal in support of his loyal customer base in Ireland and the UK.
