There are few things more grating and tedious than waiting on a late flight, but one Irish youth group helped ease the pain in Paris Airport with this fun sing-song.

Meath-based youth group Gluais treated those stuck in Charles de Gaulle Airport to two typically Irish songs to bring some smiles to the bored passengers.

Flights were delayed that evening so the group decided to perform some impromptu songs to keep the passengers and their children entertained," a spokeman for the group told Independent.ie.

The music and dance group, who were in Paris representing Ireland in the Irish Disney Festival, performed their own version of 'Paint the Town Green' and 'Oró Sé do Bheatha 'Bhaile'.

"You can't get more Irish than this," the spokesman added.
