VIDEO: Louis Walsh pulled from Olympia audience to lip sync on stage in a Dolly Parton wig

Pop mogul Louis Walsh is a man of many talents, but last night he proved miming wasn't one of them.

The X Factor judge was in the Olympia to watch contestants from popular TV show RuPaul's Drag Race, but got a big surprise during an audience participation round.

At one point, host and Drag Race judge Michelle Visage asked for "a man of a certain age" to join her on stage. Eagle-eyed fans spotted Walsh sitting in a box and change of his name were soon echoing around the theatre.

The Mayo native agreed to go on stage with three other fans of the show. Soon afterwards, he was given a Dolly Parton wig and told he had to lip sync along to her greatest hit '9 to 5'.

However, his lacklustre performance didn't go down well with the audience and he was soon booed off stage. During his time on stage, fans took to Twitter to praise him for being a good sport.

"He tried," one user said, while another stated that he "he looked like he was in hell".
