Special Medjugorje concert

A special Medjugorje Concert will be held at the Church of the Holy Redeemer, Árd Easmuinn, Dundalk, Sunday, November 12,

This will be the only venue in Ireland for a performance featuring the acclaimed international violinist and singer, Melinda Dumitrescu, who is well known for her performances in Medjugorje. She will be accompanied by guitar player and singer, Roland Patzleiner, who is also well known in Medjugorje along with organist and keyboard player, Christian Rosoaga. This group has performed at various venues throughout the world.

Melinda Dumitrescu, a violinist from Romania, became an international recording artist after she became known to pilgrims for accompanying the prayer programme at the shrine in Medjugorje

Having completed her studies at the Music Academy in Lübeck (Germany) as a student of Prof. Zachar Bronn, Melinda Dumitrescu decided to come to Medjugorje and dedicate her music to the service of pilgrims.

Her travelling to Medjugorje was a consequence of her faith in Our Lady's apparitions and of her encounter with Fr. Slavko Barbaric.

This Medjugorje Concert promises to provide a unique and most enjoyable experience of unforgettable music and song and will be especially meaningful for the many people from Dundalk and surrounding areas who have travelled to Medjugorje over the years.

The concert takes place on Sunday November 12, when doors will open at the Holy Redeemer Church at 7.30 p.m. and the Concert will begin at 8.00 p.m.
