Puppy love as DWTS couple Thalia and Ryan make first public appearance together

Their eyes met across the dancefloor and Dancing With The Stars couple Thalia Heffernan and Ryan McShane have never looked back.

The loved-up pair were spotted walking hand-in-hand in Dublin city centre yesterday with Thalia’s new puppy, Lenny.

The model (22) was the third celeb to be booted out of the hit show, but she has been spotted back at the Ardmore Studios to cheer on her new love.

Ryan (32) is the dance partner of Red Rock actress Denise McCormack, who is one of the favourites to land the glitterball trophy.

Although Thalia was dancing with Curtis Pritchard, it seems she had eyes only for Ryan while she was in the competition.

The couple first met up in November, but rumours of romance did not come to the fore until last month.

However, the world of sequins and cha cha chas seemed to be farthest from their minds yesterday afternoon as they kept it casual when they took a stroll in the city centre.

“I think Denise and Ryan are going to win the show, though I am partially biased,” Thalia has said.

“I’ll go to a few more of the shows and I’ll be there for the final.

“I’m obviously going to stay in the loop because we’re all like a family.”

Although the couple were keen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, they appear resigned to the fact it was never going to stay that way.

“I guess it’s hard, but you just have to deal with it,” said the Ranelagh woman.

This week sees Ryan reunited with his dance partner Denise after last week’s switch. Fans were left shocked after Ryan and Denise were in the bottom three two weeks ago despite scoring high among the judges. So they will be hoping to get the fans back behind them again.
